Upcoming Event at UCLA: Healthy Communities Data Summit, June 11th
We are excited to be attending an upcoming conference presented by Health 2.0 and the Foundation for Healthcare Innovation. The Healthy Communities Data Summit will take place in Los Angeles CA this Wednesday June 11th. The event will promote technological innovations aimed at improving patient access, harnessing big data and creating awareness of issues facing the healthcare community. We are very excited to learn how the Los Angeles community is improving the healthcare landscape through effective use of technology. Furthermore, at Achieve Health we are engineers of cutting edge healthcare technologies and we are eager to share our new developments to further catalyze our goal of improving Health IT system interoperability.
The Healthy Communities Data Summit will feature panel discussions, live demonstrations and in-depth coverage of recent project successes related to community focused data initiatives. There will be a number of presentations and product demonstrations on new visualizations of data that highlight the value of increased and meaningful access to healthcare specific data. There will be an Idea-a-Thon think-tank event on June 10th that will challenge participants to come up with innovative ways to leverage technology and big data to drive the most impact in the lives of patients. Wednesday June 11th will feature a full day of panels, keynotes and breakout sessions around the concept of making smarter use of the available health data to improve health at the community level.
This event aligns perfectly with our core beliefs of making smarter use of technology to realize the greatest return on investment while improving the overall healthcare experience for the patient as well as the clinical team. We are passionate about leveraging our deep technical background and experience to change the Health IT landscape. Our technology, CoreCONNECT focuses on improving the healthcare experience for the clinical staff, which in turn improves patient outcomes and reduces wasteful spending. Our advanced technology solutions go hand in hand with the goal of this upcoming event and we look forward to sharing them with the community.
Achieve is actively involved in the Los Angeles technology community. Our Los Angeles office hosts a number of our most senior engineers and our Media and Entertainment division has been a leader in the LA Technology market for over a decade. As such, we are always looking for ways to contribute to the improvement of the Los Angeles Health technology scene and to further promote Open Source in Healthcare. Once the Healthy Communities Data Summit wraps up Wednesday afternoon we will be heading to a Healthcare + User Experience (UX) MeetUp event in Encino CA, just north of downtown LA. You can read more about our UX work and participation in the event at our dedicated User Experience blog page.
We are very happy to see such initiatives taking place in Los Angeles, we still have a long way to go to improve healthcare IT and we’re looking for more summits or events in Southern California. It is our goal to galvanize the San Diego community and to do so we have started an event series of our own. Our first Health IT Innovation event will be held on June 18th. You can register for the free event here, and join our MeetUp page if you want to stay abreast of our upcoming events and announcements. Either way, we are looking forward to both events this Wednesday. It will be an inspiring day of discussions, learning and presentations focused around key needs within the healthcare industry.
